Maybe it's all archetypes and their effect on your psyche. Maybe it doesn't matter what you call (the) God/s as you see it, maybe they exist, maybe it's just the way you harness a collective cosmic energy. 

All great fictional characters contain elements of divinity. Maybe instead of calling on say Thor you called on He-Man? Maybe you loved the Smurfs as a child, would...
