Chapter One

      The forest was dark, foggy, and rain sprinkled down as she looked left, then right. Then she ran through so fast, she was but a blur in the periphery of the local fauna. “KANE!” She screamed his name, listening past the sounds of animals waking for their day. 

      She ran faster, looking everywhere, stepping over bodies, she could smell his blood. So she ran even faster.
