This is tale of a wild, broken, and desperate girl who was transformed by the grace of God and His deep love. Her journey is one of aching pain and resentment that had her wrapped in chains, holding her hostage in her past, and lost in throes of addiction. She tried every avenue of healing made by man to fill the aching hole inside her soul, but always found herself in the same lonely place. Until, she met the One who could truly heal her, and what she found is that He had been there all along, waiting, on her willingness to surrender her life to His greater purpose. "Sounds interesting!"
Euphoria burst through the numb edges of Parker’s mind. Finally. The booze and pills were starting to take full affect. She breathed in a sigh of relief. Parker stretched her arms wide and fell back on the bed behind her. She reached out and grabbed the blanket around her, studying the colorful fabric. She could hear the shower running in the bathroom. He wouldn’t be long. Anxiety rose up inside her. She knew she didn’t have enough money to pay for the oxy. She lied and said she was goo...

Ezra greeted his mother with a loving smile, “Hello, Mom”. “I’m so glad you were able to make it! We’ve missed you dearly!” She said as she hugged her son.  ...
Loud shouting and laughter could be heard over the pounding music in the rowdy bar. Ezra Wheeler glanced down at his watch. It was nearly seven in the evening. He sat uncomfortably at a table near the bar. This wasn’t usually his scene, but he was happy to put this evening together for his friend. “Come on, Man! Lighten up, you’re looking so serious over here! Have a beer!” yelled Ezra’s roommate Jeremy in his ear as he clapped him on the shoulder.&n...
The fresh cool air hits Ezra’s face as he walks outside the bar. It was nearing 1:30 in the morning now. Ezra was very thankful he didn’t have work in the morning. He laughed as his friends piled in the truck and Luke hung his head out the window with a big goody grin, “I’m getting married next weekend!” “You are!” He waved goodbye as they drove off and turned to walk to his own vehicle. He had driven here alone after work.
